Peer Review Process for Cahaya Edukasia Journal

  1. Initial Submission Evaluation:

    • Manuscripts submitted to Cahaya Edukasia will be screened by the editorial team to ensure they meet the journal’s focus, scope, and formatting requirements.
    • Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s guidelines may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected outright.
  2. Plagiarism Screening:

    • All manuscripts undergo plagiarism detection using reliable software.
    • Manuscripts with significant plagiarism (above the allowable threshold) will be rejected or returned for corrections.
  3. Assignment of Reviewers:

    • The manuscript will be assigned to at least two independent peer reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
    • The journal adopts a double-blind review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an unbiased evaluation.
  4. Review Process:

    • Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript based on the following criteria:
      • Originality and novelty of the research
      • Methodological soundness
      • Clarity of presentation
      • Contribution to the field of education
    • Reviewers provide comments, suggestions, and recommendations (Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject).
  5. Editorial Decision:

    • Based on reviewers' recommendations, the editor-in-chief makes one of the following decisions:
      • Accept without revision
      • Accept with minor revisions
      • Resubmit after major revisions
      • Reject
    • The decision is communicated to the authors along with reviewer feedback.
  6. Revision and Resubmission:

    • Authors must address reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript within the specified timeline.
    • The revised manuscript may be sent back to the original reviewers for further evaluation if necessary.
  7. Final Decision:

    • The editor-in-chief makes the final decision based on the reviewers' final recommendations.
    • Accepted manuscripts proceed to the copy-editing and publication stages.
  8. Publication:

    • The final version of the manuscript will be published online and made available to readers.
